From 7th December to 21st December the Market will be open every Sunday from 10am to 4pm Check the Noticeboard for special opening days   We are an indoor market right at the heart of Watford in Charter Place, next door to the YMCA building, and adjacent to the Harlequin shopping centre. Open three days a week, this is the place to come for all your household shopping - meat, fish, fruit and veg, and anything from clothes and hats to greeting cards, handbags and hardware. There are also a couple of snack bars where you can relax over a cup of tea and a sandwich, or enjoy a more substantial lunch at a very reasonable price. The Market is normally open on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, from 7AM to 6PM. For holiday dates and times please check the Noticeboard page.
A number of multi-storey car parks are within easy walking distance. The nearest is the Charter Place car park directly above. Also nearby are Kings, Queens and the Harlequin car parks. The Market is all on a single floor, with lifts to the car parks, providing easy access to wheelchairs. If you have toddlers there's a creche next door. Around 80 traders operate from 325 stalls.
