Right at the centre of the Market, the Delicatessen has cooked meats, pates, salamis and all the delicious items you would expect to find in a well-stocked deli and some you would not - like traditional dripping. As you approach the stall, the mouth-watering aroma of freshly barbecued chicken and rack-of-ribs greets you. Dairy products include milk and fresh cream, but the speciality is definitely cheese. There is a wide variety specially selected by Lorraine, who runs the stall. With extensive experience in the business Lorraine knows how to choose, buy and look after cheese. She has some really unusual cheeses but if that special cheese you're after isn't stocked then mention it to Lorraine and she'll do her best to get it for you.
