Celebrating
over 20 years at Watford Market, we are still proud to be supplying some
of the best sausages you'll ever taste.
The G Gibson sausage is well known in Watford and also has devoted customers
all over the country. It's made from quality pork to a recipe handed down
from Gerald Gibson who opened the stall back in 1976.
Current proprietor Michael Chapman continues the tradition, making the
same wholesome product that made the stall famous, using only the best
British pork specially selected from Smithfield.
Michael is backed
by his son Troy and colleague, Barry, who has been on the market longer
than any other butcher.
Barry first worked for Gerald Gibson in the early sixties and making excellent
sausages is an art of which he is a master.

The team is there every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday doing a busy trade
at the stall which has the biggest selection of quality meat and poultry
on display.
Michael also has a flourishing business supplying hotels, restaurants
and other catering outlets.
Most of the meat he sells is home produced. English and Welsh lamb and
English poultry are the best, he says.
And
selling the best is what Michael does best!
